The 18th Asian Film Awards kicks off its Call for Entry!

A call out to invite filmmakers, production and distribution companies to participant in the AFA18.

Inaugurated in 2007, the Asian Film Awards honours film industry professionals for outstanding achievements in the field of Asian cinema through the annual presentation of awards. The Asian Film Awards is presented by the Asian Film Awards Academy, co-founded by the Busan, Hong Kong, and Tokyo International Film Festivals.

 An eligible film participating in the 18th Asian Film Awards must:

• be feature length with a running time exceeding 60 minutes;
• be fiction film in the Asian Region^# ;
• contain English subtitles in the case of non-English language dialogues; and
• have been first-time exhibited in theatres between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024* and
• have received theatrical release and distribution in at least one Asian territory; or
• have premiered at international film festival(s); or
• have received national film award(s)

 ^# Asian Region is based on the United Nations definition and includes ALL countries and territories East of the Suez.
* Both days inclusive

Deadline for entry submission: December 31, 2024 (Tuesday).
