Ola Bola and The Journey director Chiu Keng Guan’s latest flick, Think Big Big has been officially selected to represent Malaysia at 2018 Osaka Asian Film Festival scheduled on March 9-18 in Osaka, Japan. Included in the “New Action! Southeast Asia” category that highlights the region’s breakthrough cinema, showcasing up to eight films, from action to art house, ‘Think Big Big’ stars Serene Lim, Moon Yoong, Joanne Lau, Vivienne Oon, Fabian Loo, Ruby Yap, Keigrey Kam revolves around the journey of Moon, a confident plus size-girl who agrees to join a weight-losing competition and becomes a social media celebrity which lands her into the meaning of love, hope, friendship and family.
Entering its 13th year, 58 films of various genres from 19 countries and regions, including China, Hong Kong(China), Macao, Taiwan (China), the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Bhutan, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Qatar, Greece, France, the Netherlands, the USA, and Japan will be exclusively featured in this festival.
