Subang Jaya, 8 Sept- In conjuction with 10th anniversary of Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Malaysia this year, 42nd Pictures with the support of INTI International College Subang (IICS) and FINAS have celebrated the cinematic excellence in short film making with the screening of 12 international short films today at Tan Yew Sing Auditorium, INTI International College Subang (IICS) in Subang Jaya. Geared up in the morning session with the remarks on 10th years history of SSFFA in Malaysia by Bea and Yasu Tanaka, the afternoon session was concluded with short lecture on Visual Storytelling for Short Film by Yasu.
The Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia Japan was started in 1999 became an Academy of Motion Picture Art and Sciences accredited festival in 2004, where the winner of the Short Shorts’ Grand Prix is eligible to receive an Academy Awards nomination.
