Kuala Lumpur Sentral, February 24, 2015 – The Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will set up a one-stop center for the arts community as a liaison between the artist, producer and fund providers. Known as the ‘Pitching’ center, it will begin operations from March to spur the development of local creative content industry.

YB KKMM Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek took time to visit the ‘pitching’ centre located in Platinum Sentral , KL Sentral, is confident that the center will be equipped with facilities that will benefit the players in the field of film, short drama, music and advertising .

The center will be managed jointly by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Multimedia Development Corporation ( MDeC) and the National Film Development Corporation (FINAS) . The center was built using government’s funds and some private agencies and are equipped with an auditorium, studio and radio news, in addition to a video conference room.
