Hulu Kelang, 7 January 2015 – An Incentive Local Feature Film Screening and the Administrative Assistance Association was held at the Mini P. Ramlee Cinema, FINAS. The presentation was given by Mrs. Khalidah Mohd Darus, Deputy Director General FINAS.

Previously, a total of RM 4.1 million was distributed to 22 film producers in 2014. This time, the administration submitted is the total balance of the remaining provisions. ITFC is an encouragement and financial injections from the Government to the Local Film Industry Development which aims to encourage filmmakers to continue to produce local quality feature film.

This year, a total of 1.3 million, was disbursed to 12 companies (15 titles). Meanwhile, a total of 27 associations received assistance from the administrative association.

Started in 2015, the administrative assistance association is no longer managed by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) through FINAS but will be coordinated by the Cultural Policy Division under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. In the development of the Creative Industries in the Global stage, FINAS is committed to empower the industry to be more competitive and gain international recognition.
